I got the Soko to Tokyo and so far I’ve liked the products. I bought it because I like to able to try out products before considering a full size. But for these sets to be worth it to me I have to be curious about 90% of the products in them which this time I was.

The Boscia pore pudding was just “meh”. I really like the Erborian Yuza lotion, I’ll be getting a full size of that. Already use and love the Amorepacific enzyme powder but thanks to promos, perks and the samples features in sets, I never bought a full size bottle which would last you probably 800 years because you only need a tiny amount. I don’t get the hype about the Tatcha mist but I was so curious about it, it’s alright just nothing I’m freaking out about, I’ve been using it as a setting spray. I have yet to try the other products though…maybe I’ll try the Skin Inc peel tonight.

I love the extravagant eyes…it’s a nice variety.

I’m unhappy with the Give Me Some Lip for one the price went up $3 and $25 was a great price point. Kat Von D mini lipsticks are always too dry. Nars mini pencils you can get deluxe for points or online add on most of the time. Sugar minis always melt or break. The melted mini is a bore, why not a mini of the newest liquid lip? This color mini is like the other one i got last year just a tinge darker. Smashbox and Lancome are great to try since its new. Honestly they have more new items they could and or should have gave deluxe of.

Kinda mad about this one.

Yeah I was really excited about the juicy shaker but I already have 2(!!) of the Nars Rikugien pencils – both free from Sephora- and I agree, the TF color was a lame choice. One of the Melted Chocolates probably would have convinced me to buy.

Usually avoid these sets, but I have to say the eye one looks like a good value. Have always meant to try Nars Himalia and the Laura Mercier sticks rarely go wrong (and don’t have one in plum). Have zero interest in a glitter eyeliner, though!

Don’t forget it’s MELTED Chihuahua, which reminds me of my Dali art parody shirt, with the jussi type dachshund caught under the melting clock….

Despite the fact that I already have way too many eye products, I’m so tempted by the eye kit–I need some nice false lashes, I love the Laura Mercier caviar stick formula, and I’ve always wanted that particular shade of NARS shadow.

I bought the lip kit, since they actually happened to include formulas and colors I was already interested in trying … Except that dang NARS Rikugien again! It looks SO awful on me, yet keeps popping up in birthday gifts and perks and sets. My sister loves it, though, so I’ll probably give it to her.

Normally l like these. Not his season. Lips have far too many dupes from former editions. The Reddit community says the same thing is true for the Soko, and the different products are a disappointment. I see a lot that have non-preferred ingredients for me, having researched these products to death. I even picked up a Himalaya somewhere along the line. Maybe I’ll see if the summer chic one is still available. These don’t psych me at all.

I was looking forward to the launch of the lip kit, but I am disappointed yet again. Another nudey, mauvey kit. I was hoping for something less blah. Maybe next year. The eye kit is mildly interesting, but again, kind of uninspiring.

The Give Me Some Lip and Extravagant Eyes sets just arrived in the mail today! I bought the Lip set as a gift for someone who likes makeup but doesn’t own a whole lot. For that purpose, it seems like a good set (wouldn’t buy it for myself though). I got the Extravagant Eyes set for myself and love it thus far! I’ve been dying to try the Nars dual intensity eyeshadows and the UD Heavy Metal liner, the other stuff is just bonus! 🙂
