Sephora Explosive Game (15) Satin Hydrating Lipstick ($15.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark fuchsia pink with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. This was one of the less glossy shades in the range (observation, not really a pro or a con!).

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have "vibrant, long-lasting color" with a "satin finish" that "does not crack, bleed, or fade over time." It is also intended to "hydrate lips for up to eight hours while color stays fresh and comfortable all day long." The only issue I really had was that they aren't going to last eight hours as most shades lasted around four hours, while some of the deeper/richer shades (like a red) lasted closer six hours.
The texture was smooth, lightweight, and creamy without being overly heavy, slippery, or prone to feathering, but it had enough slip that some shades had a bit of product settlie into my deeper lip lines--thankfully, it wasn't noticeable from a normal viewing distance in most instances.
The lipsticks were typically opaque in coverage, comfortable to wear, and like a solid, cream/satin finish traditional lipstick. They were easy to apply and reapply throughout the day.
It had a fruity-floral scent, which was mostly noticeable in the tube and had no discernible taste.

Ooo, I love Unlimited Intensity. Berry shades are always my favorite and look nice next to my sub-par skin tone. 😂
Whilst these shades aren’t my colours, I do think they are excellent value for the price. The lipsticks look really comfortable to wear and I think the Unlimited Intensity shade is quite different from the usual shades that are out there in the marketplace.
Oh, boy- Unlimited Intensity is stunning. The undertone in it helps make it seem like it would be a really wearable dark shade for someone like me, who isn’t 25 (*cough* or even 35*) anymore…as long as it didn’t wear off weird. I think I need to invest in that one. Thank you, as always, for the swatches!
