Sephora End of the Year 20% off Sale Items
Sephora has their end of the year sale right around the corner, and VIB Rouges can get 20% off with code EXTRAROUGE beginning today. The sale begins officially on 12/25 and all customers can get an additional 20% off sale items with code EXTRA20, through 1/1/2015.
Edited: Looks like the code isn’t working right – hopefully they fix it shortly since they announced this in a mass email to VIB Rouge customers this morning! Reader Celia reported that if you switch to Canadian checkout, enter the code, then switch back to U.S., then enter the code, it will work. Reader Amber said that Sephora told her they’re working on it as of 1:30pm EST.

I am a VIB ROUGE but it did not work for me. Even though I have signed in with my account, it still keeps saying I need to log in to VIB ROUGE account :(( This is so frustrating because it is not the first time
I hope it gets fixed soon! I wonder if someone press send on that customer blast too early, lol! There was no start date in the email’s fine print, just the end date.
Just an FYI, the code is not working currently. I just got off the phone with the Rouge Concierge and they are working on the code. 🙁 This was at 1:30 p.m. EST.
Tip for fellow Rouges who are having issues (I’m not shopping the sale but I did this to check to see if it works and it did for me): I was getting the error until I clicked over to the Canadian site and added the code once there. Then when I clicked back on the US site, the code remained in my cart. You can switch the country by finding the little flag on the bottom left of the screen (from the States, you can cycle between US/Canada). I learned this from the Beauty Talk forum where someone also reported talking to the Rouge Line and receiving some points for the error so if all else fails, I would give the Rouge Line a shot.
Also, I love the Studio Case! For me it works for traveling and the shadows are as good as their full-sized counterparts. I picked it up when it first went on sale already, but I definitely recommend giving it a shot if you want to get into the Artist Shadows but also want to save some money on shades or if you just love the line like me but could use a travel version. It’s a little bulky but I love that I can fit a ton of extra cosmetics/tools under the shadows/liner tray.

Hope you enjoy it, Amy! I like it enough that I bought it despite owning the 30 Years palette, one duo, and five trios I found it totally worthwhile. Right now four of my trios are stored in the compartment underneath alongside a couple liners so it really is a nice little kit.
The MUFE shadows are awesome! I got a tiny sample of Fig and I just love it. I was considering getting it in a trio (although how one decides on 3 MUFE shadows is beyond me), but thought this kit would be a good deal. I’m really happy about the space below so I could take along stuff for full face when I travel! Things always get lost in a bag.
Oh how exciting that this will be your official introductory purchase for the Artist Shadows! It’s just perfect for that. It will help give you a good feel for what you want when you face that mighty 210-shade list for the custom sets. There hasn’t been a shade I’ve disliked so far and the little booklet it comes with actually has some nice looks that are easy to recreate and customize. The liner is amazing, too! I have very finnicky waterlines and it stays in place beautifully while still being easy to blend into your looks.
Haha the same thing happens to me when I travel. You’ll really like the compartment. I was surprised by how much I can store in there. When I’m at home I keep the MUFE shadows in there but on the go I usually have some brushes, a foundation stick, a contour stick, a blush stick, etc in there. I even got a tin palette from Geek Chic with loose shadows in it!

I’m pretty sure I’ll love it! I’m thinking of sticking a naked basics along with some brushes and a BB in there. You know and then I can pretend I’m traveling light on makeup.

I cannot get the code to work. I’m VIB Rouge and trying to shop on my cell phone. It’s saying I must be logged in, but I definitely already am.
Ugh, like, seriously. You’d think one person could’ve tried it out before sending out a mass email…
It’s 2:35pm CST and the code is still not working. I had to do the switch between the USA/Canada site and back to get the code to work. I got some Bare Minerals and some Tarte older sets that I had missed out before for around $65.
I just used it and it works now. Unfortunately the Bite Deconstructed Rose set seems to be gone but the MUFE case is still there.
Darnnn…..Got the email today…and I just bought the Bite Beauty Crushed Rose Lip Trio YESTERDAY at $35 (was $75 something tho)….it could be even a greater steal if I just have waited another 24 hours….. well…should put more thoughts on that next time….lol

Luckily the code worked without any hassle.
I almost missed this email – but I managed to pick up the Bite Deconstructed set which was one of the only things I wanted. I may check out the sake again at some point. 🙂
It’s still not working for me. I’m a VIB rouge and I’m logged in, but it keeps telling me I need to be logged in for the code to apply. I thought they would have fixed this by now. 🙁
