I love their pencils – great value and quality – and nearly had a fainting fit when Cappuccino suddenly disappeared from the site a while back. I’m guessing these still need sharpening? (I’d love it if they were twist up!) Wish they’d bring back Diving in Malaysia and Snakeskin Dress!

Yes to Diving in Malaysia! I was only able to snag one when they discontinued it and it’s a little treasure in my eyeliner stash. I was luckier in grabbing three Galaxy Girl liners which were also a fave.

The 12-Hour pencils were always my favourites. It appears that besides the snazzy packaging update, Sephora has kept a good percentage of old shades, renamed some of them, and added a couple. They look great (she said, hoping they haven’t “improved” themselves into a quick death…).

I don’t know if to call them a dupe for the UD or Marc Jacobs eye liners. 😅

But I still wonder why brands don’t offer more options for colors that can be used to brighten the waterline, a couple of shades of nudes for various skintones. Even Coconut isn’t exactly the best for brightening.

I would for the brown (tiramisu). I swatched them in store next to each other last month and put them through the same wear and tear. Both swatches were on my hand with the same intensity after it was all over. I can’t speak to other colors, but Tiramisu is a solid dupe for Marc Jacobs’s…earth quake? Is that what it’s named?

Sephora’s house brand eyeliners are awesome as hell. If they didn’t mess with the formula, but just updated the packaging, I’m in to it. I need another brown anyway. If they messed with the formula…..? Well, I guess we’ll just have to burn the whole place down then. Don’t see another option.

Half the size, or used to seem like UD were a good 2 inches longer then the others. Usually they’re great. I’d occasionally get a dud wood that wouldn’t ever sharpen right. I’m still babying some along, but mostly using UD, too. Remember Sephora’s matching line of shadow sticks? The fat ones?! Those I loved! So many colors! Then they disappeared. Not a good change, just when shadow sticks are getting really popular.
