Raspberry

($16.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a darker pink with subtle, cool undertones and a natural sheen. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation–up to semi-opaque coverage–paired with an emollient, thin, and lightweight consistency that was spreadable and applied well over bare skin along with over base products as it didn’t lift them up. The color diffused easily over my skin and blended out evenly with little effort and yielded a natural sheen that wasn’t tacky.

As a cheek product, it wore well for seven and a half hours before moving more noticeably downward, while as a lip product, it lasted for two hours and felt non-drying but wasn’t as prone to settling into my lip lines as other shades in the range were.

Formula Overview

$16.00/0.15 oz. - $106.67 Per Ounce

The formula is described as "buttery soft, easy to blend" and is supposed to have "sheer, buildable coverage with a soft, skin-like finish." Though it's available in three types--highlighter, contour/bronzer, and blush--they formulas do not differ dramatically in terms of performance and feel.

It had sheer coverage that was buildable to more medium coverage, but getting full-on opacity didn't seem like it was really in the realm of possibilities, so those who either need or want greater, truer-to-pan coverage may not find it as workable. I'd recommend sticking with deeper shades for those who need or want more coverage, too, as the lighter shades were less buildable.

As a cheek product, the formula applied evenly and blended out well on bare skin as well as patted over base products as it wasn't a formula prone to lifting up complexion products. The finish was dewier, though it seemed to soften a bit after an hour or so of wear. They wear was between six and seven hours before there was noticeable fading and/or light movement/slide. I had the best wear when applied over a more matte foundation as compared to bare skin or a dewier/more luminous foundation choice.

As a lip product, they offered semi-sheer to medium coverage that went on somewhat evenly, but the thinner, more emollient formula was quicker to "dry down" on my lips and wasn't the most flattering formula to have on if you have imperfections, flakiness, or dryness (even minor). They lasted between two to three hours with deeper colors lasting longer and felt non-drying.

In general, I think they're a better cream blush formula than a lip product, which is par for the course with these multi-tasking blush-and-lip kind of products. For those who intend to wear them primarily as a cheek product, then mentally boost the ratings a bit!

This is really lovely but – as with cream eyeshadows – I’ve slowly come to the realization that as pretty and glowy as cream blushes can be, I still prefer powder blush for its ease of use. This doesn’t keep me from buying cream blushes but 99% of the time, I still reach for powder.
