Rescue Beauty Lounge Kellie Gonzo Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “bright pink coral.” It’s a medium, rosy coral with silver and copper micro-glitter. It was mostly opaque with two coats of polish. The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, and I had no issues applying it. It almost looked like a jelly when I initially applied it, but it doesn’t retain the squishy look as it dries. I wish the glitter was denser, because it looks mostly like a cream at a normal viewing distance. Essie Sunday Fun Day is very similar. Rescue Beauty Lounge Smile is darker, redder. Dior Diablotine is darker, redder. See comparison swatches.

NailsandNoms Nail Lacquer ($20.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “bright orange with periwinkle, pink, and orange shimmer.” It’s a tangerine orange with pink and orange shimmer. It dries to an almost wax-like finish–not quite matte, but a little squishy-looking and satin-like. The polish was mostly opaque after two coats. I didn’t have any problems applying it as it wasn’t too thick or too thin, though the drying time was a little long. The only thing I’d say is that I really couldn’t see much of the shimmer if there wasn’t a ton of direct light hitting the nail. Zoya Beatrix is much sparklier, lighter. MAC Riot Gear is lighter, cream. Dior Mango is yellower, lighter, cream. China Glaze Orange you Hot is yellower. China Glaze Papaya Punch is a ocream. Zoya Arizona is a cream. See comparison swatches.

Nails and Noms looks nice but honestly? I have maybe 8 bottles of her polish and almost all look more complex in the bottle than on my nails. Maybe it’s just me but I would rather have 10 bottles of Zoya than 1 of these…..I guess I am missing out on what is so special about these polishes. Just one girl’s opinion.

I think they used to be better – it’s not that the formula is bad, per se, just that all of the pearl/shimmer that was subtle but noticeable just seems there but not actually visible. I agree that the majority of their more recent catalog has been prettier in the bottle than applied. This is probably the last collection I buy, but I said that last time and still ended up buying this one, lol.

OK so to be fair I went back and looked at my stash. I have 9 bottles in total and I forgot that there is one that I really do love. Its the LE color called Thank You and it’s really lovely for such a light color and it’s a dream to apply….so just wanted to say that.
