YSL Rouge Extravagant (01) Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick ($39.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a bright, medium red with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. It had the expected velvety-smooth texture that glided across my lips comfortably, but it seemed more likely to "pill" and have slight chunks of product that I had to press and smooth out.
It had mostly opaque pigmentation that separated slightly along my deeper lip lines and seemed more likely to emphasize minor texture issues on my lips. This shade stayed on well for over six hours, left a strong stain behind, and felt non-drying.
