Editor's Review

The formula is supposed to have "intense color and instant'shine" in a single layer, while still being "comfortable to wear" and moisturizing. The brand also claims that it will wear for 16 hours, be transfer-proof and resistant to both water and food. The brand says to shake the tube prior to application.

I'm happy to report that the formula actually lived up to its claims! It was incredibly long-wearing where 16-hour wear was absolutely within possibilities, though I'd say that two greasier meals did start to break it down more noticeably (so around 12-14 hours, depending on eating schedules). It was food and water resistant; I didn't see any marks left on my glasses while drinking my morning lattes or water throughout the day. After a meal, it had almost no transfer and was very much... It was food and water resistant; I didn't see any marks left on my glasses while drinking my morning lattes or water throughout the day. After a meal, it had almost no transfer and was very much intact on my lips except for the very inner area after an oil-heavy (pesto!) lunch.

They had rich color coverage that applied evenly, was fairly forgiving and not prone to settling noticeably into my lip lines. The liquid lipstick felt lighter and was thinner initially, but it set to a slightly clingy, more satin-like sheen after about 30 seconds. I noticed that it felt less clingy after about two hours and was very comfortable to wear. It didn't seem to dry out my lips at all after wearing the product for multiple days in a row.

It seemed unscented and had no discernible taste.

I agree with the other reviewer. I also own this product and its amazing when used properly. I would however use a lip liner with each corresponding shade. I noticed the Indie Sleaze feathered a tiny bit on my top lip. Other than that, its transfer proof (till you eat) and has great coverage. A little tacky like a lip gloss but that's a-okay to me. I hope UD releases even more colours, I'm trying to find my perfect shade.

I had high hopes after seeing so many good reviews for the Vice Lip Bond formula. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype for me. Luv Ya Backtalk is the PERFECT color for me and I love how pigmented it was. That is where the love ends. I shook the lipstick per the instructions and applied and allowed to set (keeping my lips from touching each other). This formula never truly set down and remained very sticky... almost like a glue. The glossiness lasted for maybe a few minutes and then it became matte. I found that the color did transfer. However, it wore down decently and never crumbled, flaked, or got patchy. Unfortunately, I couldn't even comment on wear time because it was so uncomfortable for me. It wasn't uncomfortable drying like many liquid lips... but uncomfortable tacky/sticky. I can only wear this for more than an hour if I pair it with a gloss or balm on top, which ultimately decreases wear time.

It looks like this wasn't shaken properly before use! I own this product and after following the instructions on the package that states to shake it well for 5 seconds, I was able to apply it pretty well on my inner and outer lips and didn't have it look like how she applied it. It has a unique finish as it sets and doesn't transfer at all! It also didn't leave my inner lip until I ate something hours later. It did leave a slightly tacky feel like lipgloss, but I love the look of the lips after it's been applied. I definitely recommend giving this one a go and reading the instructions before use!
