Urban Decay Asphyxia is a moderately warm-toned, light-medium purple with a pearl finish. It is a limited edition nail lacquer that retails for $15.00 and contains 0.33 oz.
Urban Decay Asphyxia Nail Color ($10.00 for 0.30 fl. oz.) is a bright, medium pinky-lavender with warm undertones and threads of fine, lavender shimmer. It had semi-opaque pigmentation after two layers of product, but it was a little uneven with some areas appearing almost opaque and others appearing a touch streaky. The texture was thinner, a little watery, and I couldn't prevent brush strokes from appearing. Formula X Equinox (P, $12.50) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). MAC Scorching Haute (LE, $16.00) is more shimmery (85% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
