Supernouveau #2 is a dirty, greenish-gray with subtle, cool undertones and a frosted finish. It had a soft, more powdery consistency that was prone to sheering out and had some fallout during application. The pigmentation was more semi-sheer and buildable to medium coverage but needed a primer or to be layered over the #4 shade to give it greater intensity. It wore well for seven hours before fading visibly.
