Tarte Daygleam is a moderately warm-toned, light copper with a metallic finish. It is a permanent highlighter that retails for $28.00 and contains 0.2 oz.
Tarte Daygleam Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Highlighter ($29.00 for 0.20 oz.) is a light-medium copper with warm, rosy undertones and a metallic sheen. It had rich, opaque pigmentation in a single layer, though the texture was forgiving and a lighter hand (or less dense brush) could be used to achieve sheerer coverage if desired.
The formula is supposed to be "long-lasting" with "12-hour" wear that has a "buildable glow." I would not describe it as a buildable glow; it was quite metallic regardless of sheer or opaque application. The more I blended it, the smoother the sheen became, but it did still accentuate the look of my skin's texture at some angles when worn at medium or greater coverage. I think this shade would be particularly nice for someone who finds a lot of coppery highlighters to be too dark or red-toned, as this is one of the lighter ones I've come across (conversely, the lightness would be beautiful on deeper skin tones while only adding slight warmth). The consistency was smooth, dense but not stiff or too heavy to work with, and blended out with ease. It wore well for ten hours before turning a little patchy.
A vegan friendly, 12-hour highlighter for an effortless, incandescent glow.
