I meant for this to wear like a plum, it's described as a dark red but on my wears like a dark magenta. The staying power on this is incredible. It stays a little tacky, and so I start to worry when I start to notice it's not tacking on my inner lips, but when I go to check it (think it's going to be terrible) it looks fine. I have a habit of eating lipstick due to how my mouth closes and this holds up handily. It not as sensitive to alcoholic drinks and fatty foods as some others as well. That said, it takes some work to get off and you could transfer color to your face and have a clean-up on your hands. I have to be very careful putting it on, any mistake quickly turns into a disaster because it's so difficult to clean up. But it goes on smooth and opaque. The wand does ok for precision but it's fuzzy so precise lines can be dicey. I've used a lip brush to good effect.I think this lipstick is great aside from being much darker on than I thought it would be. Some one told me my lips were "gothic" at a Christmas party.

I am usually too lazy to wear anything on my lips, but this color (Patina) and formula are absolutely PERFECT for me. The color goes on smooth and creamy, but sets matte and looks better-than-natural. Because the color is such a good fit for me, the matte still looks natural which I couldn't find in the Kylie Kits or NYX soft matte lip cream. As a reference, while I'm usually pretty tan, I tend to wear light-medium with neutral undertone foundations (MUFE HD 125/Y315, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua 20 Beige, MAC Face & Body N3).
