Radiant Orchid is a cool-toned, pinky-purple with a pearly finish. It's intensely pigmented, and the texture was soft and blendable. This is not a shy shade at all, and I was surprised to see just how purple it actually was. I don't have anything quite like this as far as blush goes, so I turned to eyeshadows. This shade wore well for eight hours before starting to fade. Bobbi Brown Ultra Violet (LE, $21.00) is darker, more matte. NARS Rage (LE, $24.00) is a touch lighter.
