The lipstick is supposed to have 8-hour wear, no transfer, "vivid matte color," and a "naked-lip feel." Per the brand, it should "deliver opaque matte color in one coat." Well, "coat" is difficult because of how firm, stiff, and dry the physical lipstick is, so it was not possible to get an even, fluid one-coat and had to really be pulled and tugged the across painfully and then I used my lips to really blend the color together.
I'd recommend using a lip brush or first swatching the top layer of the lipstick on the back of your hand to help soften/warm it up, which made it marginally more pliable on my lips, though still one of the stiffer lipsticks I've had the unpleasant experience of trying.

It felt very lightweight, but the matte formula was clingy and made my lips look drier/emphasized lip texture and caught on flakiness. If your lips are not naturally pretty smooth, I think this would be difficult to make look even and smooth, even with exfoliating.
Once I was able to get past the stiffness, it did have semi-opaque to opaque color payoff, and it was very long-wearing and fairly transfer-resistant, so it did make it through a meal. Most of the shades stained to some degree, too, which helped the longevity and look of the lipstick as it wore down.
The formula was lightly drying overall, though not nearly as drying as I would have expected (nor as drying as it felt in its clinginess). There did not seem to be any scent or taste.
