Physicians Formula Endless Summer Butter Bronzer ($14.99 for 0.38 oz.) is a medium-dark brown with subtle, warm red undertones and a satin sheen. It had rich color coverage in one pass, though the texture was denser, lightly creamy, and smooth to the touch, which made it easier to use a lighter hand for more gradual coverage if preferred. The bronzer applied evenly to my skin and blended out with little effort. There was a natural sheen to the finish--not overtly shimmery but more than semi-matte--and the red undertone became more apparent as I buffed the product outward. It stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.
