Indian Gold (44M) is a light, muted gold with strong, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The eyeshadow was richly pigmented, while the texture was soft, smooth, and not too firmly nor too loosely-pressed into the pan, so it was easy to pick up and to apply without fear of fallout. The powder seemed to "melt" onto my lid for a very seamless, more glowing finish. It lasted nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.
The current version is slightly deeper, though applied, blended out, and in a moderate amount of lighting, the difference wasn't noticeable at all. The texture was also thinner and a bit firmer in the pan, but it had better longevity.
