NARS Alice Multiple Tint ($39.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium, coral-red with warm undertones and a natural sheen. It had semi-sheer, buildable color coverage (up to semi-opaque) that had a slightly wet finish and looked more like a cheek stain.
The new, limited edition formula is supposed to be a "sheer, tinted format" with "natural-looking color" for "lips and cheeks." Worth noting that while the physical size didn't seem different, the tube contains about half as much as the regular Multiple formula (0.23 oz. compared to 0.50 oz.). The texture of the Multiple Tint was moderately emollient with a dewier finish that never dried down fully, so the wear seemed to be shorter at a mere six hours. It worked best applied over bare skin or liquid/cream products and was more challenging to use over powder. It felt like a thin balm in terms of consistency as a lip product, and it lasted three and a half hours on my lips and was non-drying.
This will launch on April 15th.
