NARS Hot Channel Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark plum with subtle, warm undertones and fine pearl throughout. It had medium coverage, and it had enough slip that I expected it was part of the sheer finish, but it was listed as a satin finish. The color didn't build up much beyond semi-opaque, and I had difficulty getting the product to adhere to the inner area of my lips, which made the uneven application more noticeable. The consistency was lightweight, thin, not clingy but not too slippery, and didn't tug during application. It wore well for four hours and was lightly hydrating over time.
