I have the skin that NARS ostensibly designed this foundation for: dry, mature, not needing tons of coverage. This foundation is the WORST foundation I have ever tried.
The packaging was terrible. The pod was constantly popping out of the compact. The rubberized NARS finish on the compact was immediately dirty from the foundation.
The foundation really needed to be pressed into the skin with a sponge to get any coverage at all, so all the bits in the press release about sheering it out with a brush ... why would you do that? I felt like I had to almost trowel this stuff on at all to get a finish that had any coverage at all or made any impact other than just making me shiny. And despite making my dry skin shiny, the formula didn't really moisturize at all. The pigments clung to (and later pooled in) dry patches. It faded by 4 hours and was gone by 8 hours. I had to set it with a powder to get it to last at all - and who wants to set a powder that's marketed to people with dry skin and and labeled as "radiant". Awful, awful foundation. I returned mine.
