Lash Sensational Mascara

This is a good, reliable, trusty mascara. It's waterproof and tearproof, doesn't smudge, and there's minimal clumping. For the price, it's a good value - I don't personally need much in the way of mascara, just a little color and definition. It does the job, and does it well.

Looks decent, separates lashes, builds some volume, but unacceptable level of smudging.

Really easy to wash off, yet stays on through tears! I like this better than my high end mascaras. It keeps my lashes full, but separated. I've gotten my sisters and their friends hooked!

My holy grail mascara. Very similar to the Benefit Roller Lash with how it curls and volumises, but obviously much cheaper. This mascara doesn't flake or smudge on me, and it adds a nice curl to my lashes that lasts all day. Half-star taken off because Maybelline isn't a cruelty free company :/

This is the best mascara I've ever used and I've tried tons and tons of mascara. I have spent years trying to find a mascara that wouldn't smudge or give me racoon eyes. I have pretty oily eyelids and mascara does not stay put on me -- not even waterproof formulas of very highly-rated brands. I've spent as much as $60 on a mascara before, and while that was a good mascara, Maybelline's Lash Sensational still wears longer without flaking or smudging. To be clear, I'm not even using the waterproof formula of this mascara -- just the regular formula, and it withstands hot summer days, dancing all night, and even sex. It wears just fine without a primer, but I use Urban Decay's Subversion primer to really lengthen my lashes before applying Lash Sensational. The result is very long, cat-eye, fully fanned out lashes. This look is great for a cat eye, winged eye, or just a natural look with very prominent lashes. I won't go as far to say they look fake -- they don't -- but they make your natural lashes look long and bold. For a mascara that is under $10, this product is a steal when you compare it to high dollar mascaras that just aren't as good.
