Fit Me! Matte + Poreless from Maybelline goes beyond skin tone matching to fit the unique texture issues of normal to oily skin for the ultimate natural skin fit. While some foundations can exaggerate pores and oily skin, only Maybelline's pore-minimizing foundation contains their genius blurring micro-powders that erase pores and absorb oil for a naturally matte and poreless-looking finish.

I am impressed with this foundation, and I hate pretty much all foundations. None of them EVER dry down on me. Even if I apply powder, my face feels sticky and I still risk my makeup coming off if I accidentally scratch it or something. I ordered this in a shade that ended up being too dark and the wrong undertone awhile ago. I finally ended up getting my suggested shade a few days ago, and it's SO close to my skin tone. If I went a shade lighter, it would be too light, and a shade darker is extremely dark on me. I have this problem with every foundation. When I match my foundation to my neck, it's my exact shade but I end up looking obviously pale. It's bizarre, but since I like this foundation as much as my Burberry or Nars, I will deal with it not being a 100% perfect match haha. I recommend this to everyone. I think I paid $5 for it and it lasted literally all day. As the day goes on and mixes with the skin's natural oils, it ends up looking better and better. I know that sounds weird, but trust me. My luxury powders do the same thing; they end up looking as if I applied liquid foundation. This foundation isn't drying either, but they do make a dewy version, too. I didn't notice a smell to it, but the onnly negative thing is that there is no pump, so it tends to get a bit messy... for me, at least. I'd say this is medium coverage that you can build up a bit. It covers everything for me and evens out some redness. My nose pores totally disappear. You can apply using a brush or a sponge. I typically use a brush then a sponge. Since it is just a teeny tiny bit dark, I apply a Guerlain powder foundation that is a little bit lighter than my skin tone, and I'm all set to go.

Great foundation, but for anyone with strong yellow undertones, this came off as way too peach!!!

Great for people with very fair skin and very cool undertones. This might be for you if most drug store lightest shades are still too dark and too yellow/orange. I can’t wait till they come out with a Dewy version. This can be very drying on my chronically dry/dehydrated skin. Normally my sebaceous filaments on my nose are emphasized with foundation, but this really goes on smooth and hides them.

The only positive thing is a very good shade match. I bought it because of reviews online. My nose and forehead get oily. I never apply foundation all over my face - only to the center and then I blend it out. I do not like it at all. It sets into my pores and it is visible, just sitting there immediately after application. I do not like the finish. I tried applying it with fingers, brush and beauty sponge (RT one) and do not like the finish with either of application tools/methods. I always prep my skin for any foundation the same way (my skin is clean and hydrated). After 2 hours or wear it settles into my fine lines and makes me look older. It creases and I become oily. I tested it several times, different weather. Result is always the same. Would not recommend. Don't have an idea why it is so popular (probably the price). And it smells of alcohol.

Great overall. Natural Finish, NOT matte. Light to medium coverage. Doesn't cake up or cling to dry patches. Perfect shade match. HOWEVER, doesn't last all day or control my oil production. Have to try it with a mattifying primer to see what happens.

To my ladies (and fellas too) on the never ending hunt for a matte foundation, pump the breaks. I have tried so many different foundations to suit my oily skin needs and I have to say I am quite thrilled with this product. Is this the only matte foundation that's amazing? Clearly, no. Is it the only matte foundation that I have found to work for me that's under $50? You betcha. This is similar to powder to liquid foundation. It goes on creamy and feels sort of thick but dries so matte and smooth. I live in the south where it's always humid regardless of season and I have been using this every day for 2 weeks. By the end of the day I still have the same coverage as when I started. Having oily skin, foundation likes to "move" throughout the day but I can confidently go out after work without feeling like I need a touchup. I have tried this with and without a primer, it seems to last just a bit longer with the primer but isn't totally necessary. It covers well and is buildable depending on how much coverage you need. I have found that "spotting" it on my face via bottle to finger works better versus pouring it on the back of my hand and transferring it to my face because it dries kind of quickly. Overall, for the $6 I paid for this foundation I seriously hope they don't discontinue it.
