Editor's Review

Make Up For Ever M300 Artist Rouge Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a bold, medium-dark orange-red with strong, warm red undertones and a matte finish. The texture had a velvety feeling to it, so it glided on with ease and did not tug on the lips during application. However, it was a bit thin and clingy, so it wasn't the most flattering finish on the lips and tended to accentuate lines and imperfections. I highly recommend exfoliating prior to applying this shade. It had good pigmentation that wore well for six hours, but the formula was a bit drying. Anastasia Blood Orange (LE, $18.00) is cooler (95% similar). Dose of Colors Hot Fire (LE, $18.00) is lighter (90% similar). Charlotte Tilbury Tell Laura (P, $37.00) is lighter (95% similar). Bite Beauty #076 (P, $18.00) is cooler, lower quality (95% similar). NARS Marlene (P, $34.00) is lighter, less glossy (95% similar). Chanel Rouge Feu (57) (P, $45.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). MAC Barbecue (LE, $19.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). Estee Lauder Chilean Sunset (LE, $45.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). MAC Lady Danger (P, $19.00) is glossier (90% similar). Bite Beauty Cayenne (DC, $26.00) is brighter, glossier (90% similar). Anastasia Cinnamon (LE, $18.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Temper (DC, $18.00) is darker (90% similar). NARS Light My Fire (P, $26.00) is cooler (90% similar). Bite Beauty Mimosa (DC, $24.00) is darker, glossier (90% similar). NARS Funkytown (LE, $26.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). ColourPop K Bop (P, $10.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). Maybelline Orange Danger (DC, $7.49) is cooler (90% similar). NYX Pure Red (P, $6.00) is brighter, glossier (90% similar). Revlon Spit Fire (P, $12.39) is lighter (90% similar). Maybelline Craving Coral (P, $7.99) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). Top 20 dupes listed, see the rest.
