Editor's Review

The formula is supposed to have a "pop" of color with a "long-wearing" and "moisturizing" feel that "wears comfortably." They had sheer to semi-sheer color coverage, which produced a noticeable tint but was still translucent--so they may look different from person to person due to the natural lip color coming through.

The texture was dense and firmer in the tube, so it didn't feel like it instantly melted like some tinted lip balms, but it warmed up and became emollient, lightweight, and comfortable to apply once I swiped it on. I didn't find the lip balm to be particularly long-wearing--two to three hours--and it was lightly hydrating. There was a sweet scent, but I found it hard to place, and it wasn't the brand's signature vanilla scent.

Glorified expensive ChapStick, melts easier and not as moisturizing. This formula actually is drying on my lips. I got this as a deal for my Mac birthday month. It has the coverage that is similar to Fresh sugar lip balm. If you like Fresh Sugar, you will like this. Very sheer color. I would not carry this in your purse or keep it anywhere it gets warm. It will melt. You need to reapply often. I got the floral coral color. I can get almost the same tint with Cherry Chapstick for much less.
