Midnight Fever

MAC Midnight Fever Dazzleshadow Duo ($22.00 for 0.10 oz.) features two shades of Dazzleshadow, which is supposed to be an "eyeshadow with rich, stay-true pigments that impart a beautiful, twinkling sheen" that has "minimal fallout." One of the shades--Let's Boogie--is part of the permanent range and can be purchased individually for $18. The palette contains two full-sized eyeshadows, though, so it is a great value if you like both shades. The Dazzleshadow works best with a damp brush or over an adhesive base, as it helps intensify the sparkling finish and ensure better adhesion. The only issue is that using them damp can make them harder to blend out, so my technique is to apply them damp when using as a lid color or deeply in the crease but then using the product dry to layer and diffuse the edges.
