Permanent Press #3 is described as a "black with gold pearl." It's a medium-dark, taupe-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a satiny sheen with faint shimmer. It had sheer coverage applied dry, while damp application yielded opaque results. The texture of this was a little stiffer, and it wasn't as easily blended as the other two shades. Once on, though, the color didn't start to fade until after eight hours of wear. Chanel Tisse Rhapsodie #4 (LE) is lighter. Giorgio Armani #08 (P, $32.00) is less shimmery.
