When I bought this lines, it was recommended by the make-up artist for Diva lipstick. I love Diva on it's own, this is more on the dark purple side and changed the shade a lot. So I kept it for my purple lipstick, mostly using to darken shades like Plumful. It's a great liner, but it's the drier kind. Lasts all day, prevents lipstick from feathering and bleeding. It sharpens beautifully. It's very difficult to apply all over lips. Also, it's great value. Even considering the shelf life of 3 years... I can't see someone easily using up a MAC standard lip liner.

Love, love, love this! It's the perfect nude liner for my natural lip colour. I have no idea why it took me so long to buy this one

The formula of MAC's lip liners is amazing, but this color is absolutely amazing. So wearable, it combines with every other color and it;s so pretty. Everybody needs it in their life.

I really like the colour of the lip pencil, and really wanted to purchase it. But it goes on very sheer, with very little colour pay off. I tried and tried. I even tried it on my arm; you have to press very hard, and still get very little colour pay off. Disappointing.

This is my go-to liner. I don't know what I'd do without it!!! The shade is perfect, it matches with my natural lip color very well and every nude lipstick I wear, it is absolutely essential!

I love this. I was torn between this and currant and I'm so glad I chose Nightmoth, i think its much more versatile. I love wearing this by itself but I also pair with with MAC Sin, Wet n' Wild Cherry Bomb, MAC Dark Deed and MAC Instigator.

Just like the lipstick, the purple colour is very flattering and pretty. My experience with MAC lipliners is varied, I mostly find them to be quite drying. This lipliner was no exception but overall I'm quite happy with it.

Love this lip liner! It goes on easily and the color is very vibrant. I feel that as a dark skinned woman it helps with those brighter pinks I had no real business buying (Candy Yum Yum for example) and bringing them down to a level that works for my skin and makes the colors more wearable opposed to 'Barbie'. And while there's nothing wrong with Barbie, it's just not appropriate for all occasions.

Just bought this today because I was looking for a good nude lip liner to go under the lipstick I bought (I bought three different shades and didn't want to shell out money for three different liners). It works just great and is pigmented enough that you could wear it alone. However, it is somewhat drying so if you did want to do that, I'd recommend using a good lip balm or gloss to help hydrate your lips.
