MAC Rose Before Bros Eyeshadow ($18.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a darker, muted pink with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It seemed a little too rich in hue to be a true mauve, but it's not the kind of shade you see that often in eyeshadow form.
The texture was soft, blendable, and lightly powdery, though it wasn't difficult to work with as fallout wasn't a big issue. It had good pigmentation that needed to be built up with another layer for full coverage, if desired. This shade wore well for eight hours before fading a bit.
