Chalkboard Dreams is described as a "deep blackened teal [with a Velvet finish]." It's a blackened teal with subtle lighter teal sparkle over a matte finish. It had good color payoff with a powdery, drier texture that kicked up a lot of excess product both in the pan as well as during application, so you'll want to pat it on and probably do eyes first (and base after). It was fairly blendable, which was a surprise. On me, the color didn't show signs of fading until after eight hours of wear. Chanel Fascination #4 (P) is bluer. MAC Blue Spruce (LE, $15.00) is darker. Guerlain Les Aquas #1 (P) is less sparkly. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
