Backlit is described as a "soft cream nude [with a Veluxe Pearl finish]." It's a light beige with subtle, cooler undertones and a frosted sheen. It had semi-opaque color coverage with a soft consistency, but admittedly, mine arrived broken so it can be harder to tell as it looser overall. It wore well for seven and a half hours. MAC Creamy Bisque (LE, $17.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). MAC Smoked Cocoa #1 (LE, $17.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). Buxom Silk Sheets (P, $12.00) is warmer (90% similar). Guerlain Les Tendres #1 (LE, ) is warmer (90% similar). bareMinerals Nude Beach (LE, ) is warmer (90% similar). ColourPop Acorn (P, $6.00) is warmer (90% similar).
