Black Violet is a darker, purple-plum with warmer, brown undertones and a cooler overtone paired with a satin sheen. It had rich color coverage paired with a soft, smooth consistency that was a little thinner than other shades but had good adhesion and blended out well. This shade stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit.
