Sable is described as a "cool grey taupe [with a Sateen finish]." It's a medium-dark, cool-toned taupe with a soft, pearly finish. It had decent color payoff, but it was a little stiffer than the other shades in the palette, though it lasted for almost nine hours applied to the lid.
