Matte Black is a soft black with a matte finish and neutral undertones. It had medium color payoff that was buildable to semi-opaque coverage, though the drier, more powdery consistency made it troublesome to apply as there was quite a bit of fallout. The eyeshadow lasted for just over seven hours on me.
