Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator is a highlighter that retails for $26.00 and contains 0.16 oz. ($162.50 per ounce). There are 6 shades in our database, which you can select from in the View a Shade dropdown menu below or jump to these sections: Review, or Description.
The Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator formula is supposed to give a “translucent wash of luminous color” that can be used all-over or as a highlighter with a powder-cream hybrid texture. The consistency was denser but smooth and had no powderiness in the pan. The powder applied well to bare skin, blended out easily, and sat well on my skin. Most shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me.
The biggest “downside” to the formula is that they’re really more pigmented than described. I think they’re easy to use as a semi-sheer product with a lighter hand, but without adjusting one's tool or technique, they tended to apply at more semi-opaque to opaque coverage. To me, the formula would be better described as having medium, buildable coverage.
The average rating based on all reviewed shade(s) in this formula is shown below.
Illuminate your natural beauty! This innovative hybrid texture applies like a sheer powder but feels like a cream, creating a translucent wash of luminous color that can be swept all over the face for a lit-from-within glow. A fresh 3-D design captures the look of our favorite Italian dessert, and lasts until the very last application.

This is such a great highlighter! When I went to the store and swatched the different colors, I was surprised I liked the "Charming Pink" shade the best, but it really is so beautiful and has a brilliant shine! It definitely gives an intense glow, so if you're looking for a more subtle highlight, this might not be for you. But for everyone who likes their cheekbones to be blinding, definitely give this a try and you will not be disappointed!
