Sandy is a muted, golden brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good color payoff with a smooth, velvety consistency that wasn't too soft or too firm in the pan. There was enough softness that it was easy to blend out and use as a transition shade, but it didn't sheer out immediately either, so it could be used all-over the lid, too. The color started to fade after seven and a half hours on me.
