Martyr is a muted, medium brown with warm, yellow undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had good color payoff with a soft, velvety texture that was a smidgen dusty in the pan but applied evenly to the lid and did not sheer out too readily. It wore well for eight hours before fading.
