The formula is supposed to be buildable, have a "creamy texture" with the "look and feel of your favorite lip balm dipped in liquefied jewels." They had medium, buildable coverage paired with lightweight, balm-like texture that was comfortable and moisturizing to wear. I could feel the sparkles in them just slightly, but they never felt gritty or scratchy. There was a sweet, vanilla-like scent that I could only smell in the tube and no discernible taste. They wore for four hours on average.
They are incredibly small, though--a mere 0.045 oz. which is far lower than even most slim-sized lipsticks (usually around 0.07 or 0.09 oz.).
