I bought Rose Diamond on a whim. I didn't really need it but a part of me had been craving it for years, in spite of the fact that I have similar products and I rarely wear glittery stuff on my face. But, as I say, I'd longed for this for years as "totally don't need but would really like to own" product so when I got a $20 off voucher from Sephora recently, I bought this. It is incredibly pretty to look at and to use as well and in spite of how glittery it seems, it really doesn't apply garishly at all - the sheen or glitter is pretty subdued. I've worn this in the daytime and the results haven't been over the top. I like that I can pick up any of the individual colours with a small brush to use a bit more intensely on my Cupid's Bow or inner corner.

I purchased the fabled "Amber Diamond" powder as a splurge after a following a rather austere budget for a while - and what a luxury it felt like! The packaging of Dior products is second to none - when that gorgeous blue compact slid out of the dustbag, I knew whatever might be inside would just be gravy. Amber Diamond quickly became my go-to highlighter for 90% of my days. The glow it imparts is lovely and natural, and I enjoy that in a pinch, the colors can be used individually as eyeshadows. I do not experience fading from this product until at least hour 8 of wear, which I consider exceptional from a supplemental powder. And I know - tagging this a "great value" when the price tag is as hefty as it is? I would be remiss not to, however - I've been working on mine for a year and a half with no sign of hitting pan in the imminent future.
