I purchased this from Sephora and actually returned it after a couple uses. This range of shades from Dior simply does not go light enough to suit my skin tone. Ivory is the lightest shade in the Diorskin line, and it is at least a couple shades too dark for my skin. I realized this when, after taking off lipstick to apply a different shade, the slight ring left around my mouth from removing make-up was way lighter than the skin still holding foundation just around that area. This could be fixed by using a very light concealer on the parts of my make-up that might show more obvious blending issues, but for $50.00, a foundation should match and wear like a second skin.Beyond matching, the foundation is good, but not great. It goes on thin and offers medium to full coverage once you start building. It is buildable, but has a very tacky, almost sticky texture that never quite dries. Because of how much product is required to build and get an even finish due to the texture, I could see this running out faster. Finishing power is a must with this foundation, and while I use a translucent powder to set my face every time I wear make-up, you shouldn't have to bake just to make skin feel normal again. Despite feeling tacky, this foundation doesn't bunch together or crease and stays in place throughout the day. It could be a good foundation for someone who can find their shade, doesn't mind the texture, and generally loves Dior make-up. To be honest, I think you have to come in loving Dior make-up in order to love this product, and Dior has simply never impressed me, though their highlighter is beautiful--but whose isn't these days.
