Editor's Review

The duo includes both a "monochromatic matte and shimmer shade" that can be used "individually or layer[ed] together." The blushes are described as having "high-impact payoff" with no other specifics. The consistency of the matte shades was incredibly silky, finely-milled, and smooth without being powdery--they were thinner but not difficult to apply and sat well on bare skin as well as over foundation. The pigmentation ranged from semi-opaque to opaque and was definitely buildable.

Both the matte and shimmer products wore between eight and nine hours on me.

I have the shades Soft Peach and Warm Honey. Both get 5 stars from me. Soft Peach might look light in the pan, but don't let that fool you - it's pigmented enough to show up on my medium-tan skin (NW 35-ish) without a fuss. If you're NW 35-40, try it out, it might surprise you. Warm Honey is such a gorgeous shade for medium and deeper skin tones. This is the blush that convinced me to give shimmer blushes a chance despite my oily skin. It wears well throughout the day and the glow is soft and subtle, not glittery. I haven't found another blush formula quite like these duos, and they're well worth the splurge.

The Matte Side: WHOA, this can be a little too pigmented so definitely apply with a light hand. However, if you apply too much the blush can be sheered down and the edges can be easily blended into the skin. The powder is so finely milled and feels like silk. It's not powdery, but also not stiff or hard in the pan. The Shimmery Side: Fucking beautiful. Shimmery without having large glittery particles or emphasizing pores. It looks so natural and just melts into the cheeks for a natural flush. Overall; The blushes last on my oily cheeks all day, aren't patchy and is very travel friendly because the case is super sturdy.

This is absolutely stunning on my pale, neutral-toned skin (MAC NC 10, for reference). Both sides are incredibly pigmented, so a little goes a very long way, but I can also build these up if I want to look a bit more flushed in the cheeks. I also really like that I can wear the matte, shimmer, or both sides together. I've had no issues with either side fading on my cheeks throughout the day. It's an expensive investment, but I need so little at a time that it was worth it for me. If you're very pale and you aren't sure about peachy blushes, give this one a try. It's peachy and beautiful without being super warm and bright.
