Silk Sheets is a muted, light-medium brown with subtle, warm red undertones and a matte finish. The texture was smooth, velvety, and blendable with light to moderate powderiness. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, though it sheered out a bit when initially applied and had to be built back up. There were signs of fading present after eight hours of wear.
