Monsoon is a richer, medium-dark cobalt blue with strong, cool undertones (but not enough to get into purplish territory) paired with a matte finish. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation with a soft, slightly drier texture that blended out better than expected. I would recommend using less and building up as necessary, though, to ensure blending doesn't take too much effort. There were signs of fading after eight and a half hours of wear, and it stained slightly.
