Love is a medium-dark pink with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish that had micro-sparkle throughout it. The consistency was moderately powdery, so you'll want to use a lighter touch with it initially and build up coverage as necessary to avoid excess product kicked up in the pan and minimize the opportunity for fallout during application.
It had good coverage that applied evenly, blended out well, and was easy enough to work with overall. Some of the sparkles did translate onto my lid/eye area, but they didn't distribute as evenly as an actual shimmer eyeshadow would. This type of finish is becoming more popular within ColourPop's releases, and while some have been better than past experiences I've seen with sparkle-over-matte eyeshadows, they have not perfected it yet. This shade stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.
