Compose is a muted, medium orange with warmer, yellower undertones and a mostly matte finish. There were a fair number of gold flecks of sparkle throughout, but very few actually translated to my lid, so there was minimal fallout during application but certainly could be some as they didn't bind with the underlying powder at all. It had opaque color payoff with a smooth, blendable texture that was somewhat powdery. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
