The formula is supposed to be "super buildable" and "blendable" that won't disturb "your makeup underneath." It is also supposed to have a "natural-looking matte finish."
The texture was lightweight, creamy without being too heavy or too emollient, which enabled the product to apply well over bare skin or on top of foundation. It glided evenly over skin and blended out easily without lifting up base products. I had no trouble using fingertips or a synthetic brush with any of the shades I tested.
The pigmentation was medium to semi-opaque and buildable; due to the emollient consistency, it had a natural tendency to sheer out, so it definitely had to be layered to achieve fuller coverage (as marketed).
