Butter Cake is a light-medium gold with warm, yellow undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The consistency was looser in the pan, and I could feel that there were larger sparkle particles in it as well. It had good color payoff, though it wasn't opaque in a single layer and did not build-up as well without a primer or a dampened brush. This shade wore well for eight hours with a touch of fallout over time.
