Clinique Plum Pop (04) is a slightly cool-toned, medium-dark pink with a satin finish. It is a permanent blush that retails for $21.00 and contains 0.12 oz.

Editor's Review

Clinique Plum Pop (04) Cheek Pop Blush ($25.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a brighter, medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a natural sheen. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, moderately dense texture that felt more firmly-pressed into the pan but had no powderiness and sat beautifully on my skin.

With this formula, I'd recommend using a moderately dense blush brush to pick up product evenly, but the advantage of these more gel-powder hybrid formulations is how well they sit on bare skin. The powder applied evenly and blended out seamlessly with minimal effort. The blush stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me before fading visibly.

Beware! This is HIGHLY pigmented...As well as long-lasting! It's high-end but affordable and it performs better on my skin than more expensive blushes. Give any colour a go! They are all winners!

I was so looking forward to getting this blush. I'd swatched it and read reviews and all indications were that this would be perfect for me. So when my local Sephora finally got more in stock (they'd been sold out for quite some time), I grabbed Plum Pop. When I went to use it, I was really disappointed because I had a very hard time getting any colour at all to show up on my relatively fair skin. I can't help but wonder if perhaps this "new batch" isn't as good as the original. After a few uses, I did find this applied better and if I use it over a liquid product (rather than over a powder), it is more visible. So I'm hoping this will continue to improve once I get the top layer sort of evenly worn/roughed up. The colour is lovely and very natural but application could be better.
