It's a tinted take on the Rouge Coco Baume formula, which is intended to be a hydrating lip balm base. The tints ranged from semi-sheer to medium, but for the limited shade range that has debuted, I felt like I was able to see the distinction between most of them. The texture was smooth, lightly emollient, and comfortable to apply to wear while feeling quite lightweight.

For as shiny as they appeared, they didn't slide around nor feel that emollient on my lips. I appreciated that they were forgiving of lip texture, generally, though they could have softened the look of lip lines a little more. They were lightly hydrating, which I tend to find to be true of formulas like this one where they are lightweight, thin, and don't adhere for long.
