Chanel Lively Rosewood (5) No. 1 de Chanel Lip & Cheek Balm ($45.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a medium, pinky-plum with warmer undertones and a soft sheen. It had a dewier, glossier finish on my lips and a more satin-like sheen (not fully set or dried down, but it seemed to have a semi-set to it) on my cheeks.
The consistency was lightweight, despite some tackiness, and spreadable whether on cheeks or on lips. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and wasn't prone to lifting up my base. I was surprised at how even and smooth the product looked applied to my lips. This shade wore well for eight hours on my cheeks and three hours on my lips (and was hydrating).
