Au Fil de L'Eau #1 is a pale, white gold base with peach-to-pink shimmer. It had a semi-opaque base with a stronger presence from the shimmer/shine that gave it a slight illusion of greater opacity when applied. The texture was smooth to the touch, firm but not too dense or thick, and picked up well with a brush. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
