Full-On Lip Polish

This is a great nude lip gloss. I am fair with neutral-cool, muted undertones and it is ideal for me. It does have shimmer, which I usually don't prefer, but for this formula it is very wearable. I don't wear anything under it. I bought one of those enormous fifteen-pack "sets" for my birthday and this is the one I always go for when I want a nude gloss. Brooke is like the exact warm counterpart to this shade. Mudslide is warmer and has no shimmer. Sophia is just like Claire but with less shimmer. Pink champagne is much lighter with no shimmer. Dolly is a mauve so it is darker and less pink, more gray, with less shimmer (if you get the lip creme formula).

I got this as a freebie from Sephora in a gift bag they gave for some VIB Event (which is really nice). I love the product itself - this was my first exposure to anything from Buxom, which is a line I simply never take much notice of. The colour is just too pale and sheer but the product itself is lovely. I don't know how beneficial the minty cool tingle is but I'd certainly purchase this product in a more pigmented shade. As a gloss though or for a "no makeup" look if I'm going out for a power walk or to the gym, it is very nice.

Buxom makes my favorite glosses ever! I love the full-on lip polish and full-on lip cream. They do have a tingle sensation but I dont notice it much (I might just be used to it or not have sensitive lips). They make some beautiful shades some more sheer than others. The shimmer/glitter is undetectable which is much appreciated. I love getting the holiday sets that have the mini glosses so I can try a bunch of different shades. Though there are ones that I have purchased full size. I love that they expanded this line to 100 shades because it has something for everyone. They even expanded the full-on lip cream line too which is nice as those are more pigmented and not shimmery at all.
